Driver Safety
Incentive Program

Program is structured as follows:

Mileage will be calculated bi-monthly, and payout is based on weekly averages for the two-month period. Loads must be delivered or dropped within the bi-monthly period to qualify for the incentive.

Independent contractors (ICs) must drive throughout the bi-monthly period and attain the average mileage target(s). Periods will begin at the 1st of the month. ICs starting after the start date of the period must wait until the start of the following period to participate.

ICs cannot change truck status until the end of a bi-monthly period to achieve the incentive (i.e. switch from team to single and get paid for singles mileage incentive or vice versa). Switches can occur any time, but will disqualify the truck from the incentive for that period.

Serious infractions (accidents and most infractions due to observable actions or defects) will disqualify the truck for the period in which they were reported. All qualified ICs must successfully pass an internal HOS audit. That audit will be performed by TripPak (Rapidlog). One point will be assigned for the following violations: missing log, continuous drive time (8-hour rule), multi-day on-duty time (70-hour rule), shift time (14-hour rule) and falsification (fueling). ICs with less than 10 points in each of the two months will qualify for the incentive.

Incentive payouts will be made within three weeks of the end of each bi-monthly period.
